Koenigsegg Gamera - 2 seconds to hundreds
Koenigsegg has just presented its new offer in the GT car segment, which, according to class requirements, is not only luxurious and prepared for long distances, but also surprises with its driving capabilities.
It cannot be denied that the GT class is mainly associated with sports two-door coupes, such as Ford GT, Mustang GT, Bond's Aston Martin DB Mark III or various offers from the Italian companies Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Ferrari. It should be remembered, however, that it is slightly different from classic sports cars - cars are heavier, provide higher travel comfort (the engine in the front allows to increase the space in the cabin) and have a rather soft suspension. It does not change the fact that under their hood there is a huge power, some of them are after all supercars like the Nissan GT-R or Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.
Unsubscribe paint the Koenigsegg Gemera, although the Swedish manufacturer defines his new car as Mega-GT and all in all it is difficult to disagree with him, because the car looks simply brilliant! For this it is even created to overcome long routes and even in a 4-person composition - yes, it is the first Koenigsegg car designed for 4 people, which has enough space inside to make the journey comfortable, and in the back there is even luggage compartment for 3 cabin cases. Of course, there could not miss the spectacular doors opened up, which are so large that when opened allow you to take a seat both in front and rear of the car.
Although with such a car probably we will not complain at all, in the middle there is an audio system built of 11 speakers, an infotainment system display in the front, screens in front of the rear passengers, two screens on the side for displaying images from the cameras used here instead of rear-view mirrors, and even two cup holders for each passenger (one cools, the other warms drinks). Most importantly, however, it is a real hybrid monster with a power of 1727 hp, which accelerates to 100 kilometers in 1.9 seconds and can run along the road at a maximum speed of 400 km/h - besides, the manufacturer declares that we will drive it up to 1000 km on one refueling.
All thanks to a three-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2 liters and 608 hp, controlled by the computer, which allows you to work in various modes, i.e. reduction of exhaust emissions, fuel consumption or maximum power. What's more, the engine can be powered by unleaded gasoline or ethanol/methanol, with the second variant being almost zero-emission cars. But that's not all, because Gemera also has 3 electric motors, one of which supports an internal combustion engine, and the other two rear wheels. And since we are dealing with a hybrid, there are also built-in batteries on board that allow you to travel up to 50 km. Interested? It's great, because only 300 units will hit the market, so you have to hurry ... that is, quickly put away over a million euros!
