Xiaomi comes with a camera hidden under the screen

It is supposed to be a smartphone signed with the Xiaomi logo and to be a unique device, because it will be created especially to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this Chinese company.

We are talking about Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra. Tipsters reveal that it is to be the first smartphone in regular sale, which will be equipped with an innovative technology to hide the selfie webcam under the display. They even talk about a device that will "amaze the world". Xiaomi and other companies have been announcing the appearance of such smartphones since last year, but so far they have only been trials.

The superflag, as the representatives of the Chinese company call it, is to have a powerful 108 Mpix sensor on board, which will have a 12x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom. In addition to four cameras, the Snapdragon 865+ and two variants of RAM and disk capacity - 8/256 GB and 12/512 GB are to be under the hood.

Leaks say that Mi 10 Ultra will have a 4500 mAh battery and an AMOLED display operating at a frequency of up to 120 Hz. There will also be super-fast charging with a power of 100 W and wireless charging up to 55 W. Unfortunately, it is not known if the Ultra will be equipped with a 5G network module, but everything points to it.

Xiaomi, Huawei and Oppo announce that later this year or at the beginning of the next, most flagship smartphones will be equipped with the technology of hiding the selfie camera under the main display. It's hard to say if this solution will appeal to users. On the one hand, it is a much better look of smartphones, but on the other hand, it will not be possible to cover the webcams in any way, which many may consider as the possibility of permanent surveillance.
