Google Messages: respond to conversations with emoji
Google is adding new features to the Messaging app for Android. Now we can reply to incoming messages with emoji.
Like Facebook Messenger and many other applications, Google has brought the ability to reply messages with emoji for the Android application.
To use an emoji response, tap and hold the message you want to react to, and a short list of cute animated emojis opens to choose from. However, you can only use emoji responses if RCS chat is open.
This feature makes many of us happy as we don’t have to write something but just choose an emoji to show our opinions or thoughts on a topic. Sometimes we just smile. The best way to show that reaction may be an emoji.
Google also adds a new feature to Smart Response that automatically suggests potential answers for you: Now it will be able to suggest not only text, but also emoji stickers. However, according to Google, the feature is currently only available in English.
