SONY’s first VLOGGING camera ZV-1

The first vlogging camera ZV-1 from Japanese tech giant Sony is here. So what kind of device awaits us?

Today we are talking about a device that will replace your shooting comfort, speed, and even quality in more expensive mirrorless cameras with your mobile phones. It is so small and ergonomic that you can easily carry it with you all the time. On the other hand, its features are so sufficient that you will not need much more expensive devices. Let's briefly take a look at ZV-1.

It fits in your pocket. Its most important feature is its size and ergonomics. We're talking about a device that's small enough to fit in your pocket.

It's a compact camera. Hard to compare with the Canon EOS M50. Because their lenses cannot be changed. You can think of it as a slightly improved model of the Sony RX100.

The price is not bad. It is sold for around $700-800 in the United States.

The screen is facing forward. Yes, this is one of the first conditions of the vlog camera. It is very nice to be able to watch yourself during and after shooting with the 3.0" (7.6cm) touch screen opened from the side.

Vlogger kit. Canon made the same package for the EOS M50. But it is worth noting that the camera handle that comes from Sony is more functional with 'keys'. You can start recording more quickly and easily or give commands.

Microphone input is important. With the Sony ZV-1 with 3.5 mm standard microphone input, you can take clearer voice shots with your external microphone.

4K Recording. Although it is now an indispensable feature, being able to see 4K in a compact camera should be emotional for vloggers.

I also briefly share the general features of ZV-1 below. As I mentioned at the beginning, the number of such compact devices needs to increase. Let's see we will follow and see the industry together.
