Galaxy Z Flip is ready for the show!
The official premiere of new smartphones for 2020 of this Korean group took place. After all, you can see the first folded smartphone with the Galaxy Z Flip flip and the Galaxy S20 series.
Of course the Galaxy Z Flip attracted the most attention to the presentation. This is another foldable smartphone in the Samsung offer after Galaxy Fold, which was presented a year ago. The device looks almost identical to what it was previously shown on renderings.
Its specifications were not surprised either. Galaxy Z Flip will have two screens. The main with a 6.7-inch diameter, in 22:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2636 x 1080 pixels (425 ppi) and a small, 1-inch (300 × 112 pixels, 303 ppi) on the outer casing for messages. In addition, there will be a 3300 mAh battery, a 12 Mpix main camera, a 10 Mpix selfie camera, a thin Dynamic AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 855+ processor, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of data memory (UFS 3.0).
Interestingly, the smartphone can be used in many ways. When unfolded, we have a full 6.7 inch, while when folded halfway, we can use two screens of about 4 inches each. This function allows, for example, opening two applications or watching, e.g. YouTube and at the same time the ability to operate it on the lower display.
If you are lucky, you would have a chance to see the future smartphone Galaxy Z Flip at the store. Because it’s selling really fast: already sold out on Samsung’s US website.
The most important aspect of this device is to be its price. This one is still high, but not as large as in the case of Galaxy Fold and lower even than the competition in the form of a folded smartphone with a Razr flip from Motorola. It’s price is $1,380 in the US and £1,299.99 in the UK.
