The United Nations and World Health Organization have finally decided to introduce an international public health threat due to the Chinese coronavirus.
Every day more and more inhabitants of our planet are searching in Google for the latest information about the situation in China and in their own countries. Google is aware of the growing threat, which is why its authorities have decided to SOS alert.
This means that when you type "coronavirus" in the English version of Google search engine, you will be shown the latest information about the Chinese 2019 coronavirus from various sources, including websites and social networking sites. The most important issue is the key news published by the World Health Organization and the United Nations.
For now, this very practical service is only available in English, but Google is already working on introducing it in other languages. Information about the Chinese coronavirus will then be published from all key media in each country. In this way, the concern also wants to fight false information disseminated on the network.
At the moment, official data indicate that we already have 213 coronavirus victims and 10,000 infected, which is over 10 times more than last week. Meanwhile, there have already been 106 cases of infection worldwide in 19 countries.
We know that it’s very difficult to find ‘real’ news in this century. Especially if we talk about China, getting news about the country to abroad is not that easy. Coronavirus is a very important topic that we need to learn about a lot. That’s why it’s good to hear that we can quickly find out about it on Google.
This is an example of what we have learned from Google Search: “Corona” means “crown” in Latin, which is how the virus got its name. The term “coronavirus” refers to a family of viruses that have spikes on their surfaces resembling little crowns.
