Another big car concern decided to share with us its new electric model, and this time it is the German giant Volkswagen. This time it is a combo in the ID release.

Ford just surprised us with the first electric Mustang, and in addition with an SUV. Volkswagen also decided to add a new model into electric-cars which were presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show: Space Vizzion. 

The model was built based on the modular electric drive matrix platform, which was created especially for electric vehicles. According to its creators, ID. SPACE VIZZION is an innovative approach combining Gran Turismo's aerodynamic capabilities and SUV interior space, which introduces a completely new car segment. ID. SPACE VIZZION takes unrivaled flexibility, uncompromising quality and German design into a new era of mobility - adds Klaus Bischoff, head of Volkswagen Design.

ID. SPACE VIZZION is equipped with a capacious 82 kWh battery, which allows you to travel up to 590 kilometers, and its acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers should not take more than 5.4 seconds. During long trips, we also appreciate the spaciousness of the car, which was achieved thanks to the compact engine and battery integrated in the floor, and according to the manufacturer, it is closer to a long sedan than a medium-range car. It is also worth noting that not only the drive of this model is environmentally friendly, but also its interior is made of appropriate materials, such as AppleSkin, i.e. artificial leather containing waste from the production of apple juice. What's more, we will not find any chromed elements in the interior, because these have replaced other materials covered with chrome-like paint.

The driver of the new Volkswagen will also have a fully digital cockpit at his disposal, ensuring the most intuitive control possible. All important information will be displayed directly on the windscreen behind the augmented reality, and the content of the dashboard will be kept to a minimum. The entertainment or network functions are controlled using a 15.6-inch touch panel. And probably there will be only one "but", namely the price that we have not yet met, because the premiere only at the end of 2021.

Volkswagen ID Space Vizzion looks very futuristic in every single point. It has 275-horsepower electric motor that drives the back wheels. So, we are going to see a very powerful and also technological modern vehicle in the ID model.
