The autonomous quadrocopter resembles a small helicopter, which is equipped with four engines. One person or 100 kilograms of cargo can be taken on board. According to its designers, 2-hour charging of EHang 216 batteries will provide a 23-minute flight at a speed of 100 km/h, at an altitude of 300-500 meters (maximum 3500 meters).

EHang wants to offer its first commercial flights with its vehicle called EHang 216 next year. Currently, the company has carried out a successful flight of a flying taxi in autonomous mode without passengers, and in a few months plans to do it with the crew. Undoubtedly, this will be a great step towards starting a new era in transport. Will this form of travel become popular?
